Respected Sir,

We, the residents of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Himachal Pradesh, were excited  with the news of expansion of airport at Chandigarh/Mohali. With our near & dear ones living abroad & also for our businesses traveling to Delhi every time is cumbersome & time consuming.

for years nothing has been moved forward & we urge the government of India to make it more functional for international flights & create the remaining infrastructure.

we are hopeful of positive outcome and ask government to ease it for all our NRI’s, their families & local businesses by scaling the airport with required infrastructure.

I personally whenever travel from US to India after more than 24 hours of flight another 8 hours of drive a/w us. Add two small kids age 1&4 to it & it’s just so much more cumbersome. With the current agitations it makes travel even more difficult. All this could be prevented by optimized use of the current resources.

it will also make it easier for local businesses & lead to humongous growth of local businesses, create many more jobs & add to the economy of region & country. Government has already spent 1000s of Crores of Rs & these will be utilized.

We expect government of India to act in good faith ASAP.
