No full-fledged chairman and members in TNRERA and No complaints of the affected homebuyers grievances are addressed.
Despite of nine months of its inception, there is no permanent regulator for TNRERA. The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is presently acting as interim chairman of the RERA authority in Tamil Nadu. The State Government of Tamil Nadu passed the RERA Rules on June 22, 2017. The state needs to form a full fledged authority to dispose the grievances of the affected home buyers.
A large numbers of homebuyers are affected from many builders in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu due to non-delivery of flats as per their agreement with the homebuyers. A full-time chairman and members are required to function and to implement the RERA Act & rules in Tamil Nadu and hence a full fledged and permanent body of RERA to be set up immediately for smooth functioning of the authority.
Sir, the affected homebuyers request you to intervene to have a full time Chairman and Members in Tamil Nadu RERA to address the issues of suffering homebuyers and to the speedy disposal of their grievances.
