1.  The government of Uttrakhand hiked the annual fees from Rs 80,000 to Rs 2,15,000 vide its Government Order (G.O.) order no 2287/****/2015-88/2006 Dt. 14th October 2015 for the un-aided private medical collages established under AYUSH Department of Uttarakhand without the approval of fee regulatory committee. Stay was imposed against the said Government Order by the Honorable High Court of Uttrakhand on Dt. December 2016. Even than notices were issued in the name of medical student of Himalyiya Medical collage & Hospital, Jeevan wala, Dehradun (U.K.) by the Management Authority and were asked to deposit the revised fee. Although, the said collage management failed to impose the aforesaid G.O. on the medical students of session 2013,2014 regarding hike in annual fee amount due to filing of revised petitions in the court of Honorable High Court of Uttrakhand on this issue. But the medical students of session 2015, 2016 were asked to deposit the revised fee by neglecting the fee regulation act of Honorable Supreme Court.

2.  Central Medical Council of India had finalized a duration of 4 &1/2 years for BAMS course. There is a provision to deposit the annual fee for 4 years and 50% for rest of the half year. The students of Government and private medical collages affiliated to Uttrakhand Ayurvedic University deposits only 50% of the annual fee as a last year fee. Whereas Management and Administration of Himalyiya Medical collage & Hospital, Jeevan wala, Dehradun (U.K.) affiliated to same university asks to deposit full fee even in last year. The students fail to know the reasons behind it as there is no satisfactory and factual answer from the collage administration.

3.  In the month of April, 2018 a group of senior students of this collage approached to Government regarding this affair and was assured to look in to the matter and to do needful as early as possible. But even one week later there was no action. Hence students resort to dharna /demonstration with their demands and it lasts for 34 Hours. The students were summoned by the Registrar of the University and administrative authority of the collage and was conveyed in writing that the decision will be taken shortly after the formation of committee at the university level within 2 or 3 weeks. But sorry to say that no action has been taken so far on the issue raised by the students that prevents uncertainty and confusion. It is evident from above that how much insignificant are the students and Government body under the influence of Himalyiya Medical collage & Hospital, Jeevan wala, Dehradun (U.K.)
