We have all been repeatedly told year after year that the rise in pollution in Delhi NCR in November and December are mainly attributed to stubble burning practice followed my farmers of neighbouring states. So much political brickbats follow putting the blame either  on Delhi Government or the Central Government without actually doing something to stop this practice. I propose that the government should make the farmers aware of the repurcussions of their actions. Heavy fines should be imposed on them for breaking the law and incentives for those who discontinue the practice of stubble burning. I urge our respected Prime minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji as well the Pollution control board of India to take this matter seriously and save us all of the serious health hazards that come along with it.
