जब मै छोटा बच्चा था तो मुझे सिखाया गया कि भारत के कोने-कोने में राम बस्ते है, लेकिन जब में बड़ा हुआ तो समझा की यहां तो केवल हैवान बस्ते है। बचपन से ही मैने सीखा कि भारत ऐसा देश है जहां लड़कियों को देवी माना जाता है और उन्हें पूजा जाता है, लेकिन आज उसी भारत में हर मिनट कहीं न कहीं किसी लड़की का बलात्कार क्यों होता है?

Our country which is well known by it's traditional values and culture which treats the women as goddess but now every minute here a girl or woman is being raped, even the moment you read and sign this petition somewhere a girl or women has been or is being raped in India. Why India is considered as one of the most unsafe countries for women in the world? Why there is no fear of law in these criminals who commit rape? Why the rape victims don't have any faith in the justice system of the State? Why always it is said only to girls to wear proper dress, or to come back home before the sunset, etc. rather than educating the males in the society to respect the other gender and treat them as you want to be treated and to never ever commit a rape? Why only after such incidents like 'recent one' the whole society & government wakes up and then ends up doing nothing? There are thousands of questions in my mind but this time rather than asking questions we need to do something robust enough so that increasing numbers of rape incidents can be stopped as soon as possible and i truly believe that it can be solved only if we start working on it from the roots of this cause. Hereby i request the concerned authorities to kindly bring and start teaching an extra subject in the schools and colleges named as sex & moral education, where rather than teaching every child to not to treat a women as a goddess but atleast as a human being, and to never ever rape her because currently the Indian culture is teaching it's males to treat a female as a mere object only. Here children are taught plenty of subjects which will have no use later but the education system is failing to teach them the basics. However on the other hand the justice system is failing as well in providing Justice to rape victims and creating a fear in those who commit these heinous crimes and faith in those who become victims of the same.
