Currently senior IT professional working in IT services companies with 10 years experience and more are being laid off (thro forced resignation)in large numbers  after being suddenly labelled as outdated or as non performer, the person is never communicated of any short comings and is forced to work on same old technology deliberately. Companies are doing this to boost profits by exploiting the unemloyment problem in the country by inducting freshers in bulk to replace seniors.

After layoff the the below listed discriminatory Indian IT company  policies are preventing them from getting new jobs else even after getting re-skilled in new technologies. the dubious highly discriminatory rules are as below.

1. We wont hire you in you gave gaps of more than one year .

2, If you have cumulative gap of more than one year in the  career you are noteligible

3, not eligible if you have more than 8 years exp.

4. Not eligible in your age is above 40.

5. not eligible if you are not working currently.

6. If the previous company confirms the person has been laid off, persons candidature put on hold indefinitely even if the person clears all technical and non technical evaluation.
