Punit Juneja started this petition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India) and

To,

President Ramnath Kovind Ji,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji,

Home Minister Amit Shah Ji,

EAM Dr S Jaishankar Ji,

Sir,

I am writing this petition on behalf of or people stranded abroad and more particularly in Nigeria and other African Nations. Sir, I have written umpteen letters to you all and have received proforma reply from the PG Portal of the Government of India. Everytime the covid desk gave a proforma reply that Country is under complete lock down and no commercial flights are permitted.

On the other  Hand Many Foreign nationals are going back from India.

Sir Nigeria where i am in touch with many Indians because my brother is stranded there, i researched and found does not even have enough ventilators. There are only 169 Ventilators in entire nation. WHO also reported that 10 African Countries do not have Ventilator at all. Sir as you are aware that in such situations the outsiders (Our Citizens) will not get priority in case of health emergency and they have no where to go but to their mother land.

However i have received proforma response to my representations i have made on behalf of around 450 Indian Citizens from Nigeria.

We therefore through this platform petition you all to take necessary steps to bring back our Citizens stranded in Nigeria and other African Nations.

Embassy in UAE and Abudhabi has started the process as it appears from their twitter notifications but our IHC in Lagos and Nigeria are not doing any such process.

Please take steps as we have already lost few indian citizens to Covid19 in Nigeria and before its too late lets bring them home.

Yours Sincerely,
