To Petition Against Minister of Human Resources decision and MAS Act 2015.
This petition had 430 supporters
The Trade Union is protesting to the Minister's of Human Resources recent decision to disallow 3,600 airline workers industrial disputes be brought to court.
The MAS Act 2015 was also enacted to protect the interest of Malaysia Airlines company which the act itself has become a big hindrance to deny the rights of individuals and Trade Unions from filing any case against the airline.
Airline workers represented by Trade Unions may not proceed any legal action without the approval of MAS Administrator who may decide in the interest of the airline. This is simply unacceptable in terms of natural justice.
This is also denying the rights of the airline workers who have been retrenched by the airline 2 years ago.
We hope with this petition, it will prevent further victimization against airline workers.
Only the court may decide if MAS had used the best rule and option in retrenching their workers.
Therefore, we seek your support in order to request the Prime Minister of Malaysia to reverse the Minister's decision.
Justice for ex airline workers!
