As the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic forces governments around the world to proactively roll out precautionary measures to protect almost every citizen, I’m glad our Government here in India is proactively doing its bit as well.

On 16th March 2020, the Health and Family Welfare Ministry issued an advisory calling for the closure of all educational establishments schools, universities , gyms, museums, cultural and social centres, swimming pools and theatres till 31st March in Maharashtra.

But what about the bankers? Why are government asking bankers to come to work? There is lots of alternative channels like ATM, NET BANKING, POS TERMINAS, UPI, CASH DEPOSIT MACHINES, PASSBOOK PRINTING KIOSK, MOBILE BANKING.  Daily Min ५०० to ६०० customers are coming at each bank branches. By asking them to commute (most of us take public transport) and work in heavy crowded environment , where the bankers deals with many customers. So both of bankers and public are being put at risk. Their health and well-being matters too.

This is why I am asking Prime Minister  to issue a directive asking all PSU banks to be closed till March 31, 2020 for bankers and public Safety.

As responsible citizens, we need to act now. Sign my petition asking the PM and FINANCE MINISTRY  to immediately issue a directive asking all BANKS to be closed till March 31, 2020 for Bankers and Public safety.
