ATTACKS BY STRAY DOGS AND PRESENCE OF STRAY ANIMALS IN LOCALITIES.

On 09 Apr 2017 my wife was attacked by a stray dog who fortunately did not bite her. While trying to run away from the dog my wife fell down, received bruises on her hand and hit her head on the road. The injury could have been serious, she could have been hit by a passing vehicle or the dog could have bitten her as she was lying on the road. I am a dog lover and also have a pet dog. I have seen people being attacked by dogs which roam around freely on roads and bark and attack and bite people. I want to request and petition the municipalities and other concerned agencies to take the issue of these stray animals  seriously and come out with a serious action plan to wipe out the nuisance of stray dogs and other stray animals completely from roads by 30 June 2020.
