Makers of bird cages need to include warnings and provide clips for their guillotine doors

Birds are escaping and even dying in the "guillotine" type doors found commonly in cages still being sold today. The bird can lift up the door, then stick it's head thru, trying to escape. The door comes down on the bird's neck and strangles it. These doors have been used on bird cages for decades and its time to fix this problem. Clothespins, twist-ties, even string is used by the owners to secure these doors. But how about fixing the problem before the product leaves the factory? Simple 5 cent vinyl-plastic clips could easily fix this.
Its the new birders who are hurt the most. They often aren't aware of the danger... until they find their new friend with its head hanging lifeless out the door. Please include warnings and clips to secure these type doors. Its a simple fix, and its time to address the problem.Thank you.
