Mascoutah Covid policies have increased the risk of spread for Covid19. While the goal was to allow family’s to decide their personal preference; to wear masks or not. Teachers are now reporting that students who come to school wearing masks are coerced by kids who are not wearing masks.  With no steps of action to prevent the spread of Covid19 the students safety is at risk.

We, the undersigned, Mascoutah Parents petition the administration of Mascoutah District to submit the following resolutions immediately. To limit Covid19 exposures in order to keep our children safe during school hours; offer helpful videos to prevent the bullying of children who do wear masks and explain why some friends don’t wear masks; offer safe spaces for high risk students during pandemic peaks; offer on-site free n95 masks; offer on-site regular testing.
