We have discovered that this issue is growing because job opportunities and pay are unfair, and stereotypes are being used. Despite the government raising the pay for women and people with disabilities, it is still significantly less than men’s pay. This is proven as in the education sector; the gender pay gap is 25.4% meaning on average, women works for 93 days a year free. This is a public-sector job which then surely the government has control over? We think that the government should ensure equal pay for equal jobs no matter gender or disability’s because everyone has the right to be paid for their work and no one has the right to discriminate.
