To begin, do not burn waste anywhere, including  cabins or around any campfire. 

Make use of the garbage and recycling services available in your area. Find a trash removal service or drop-off locations in your area. Sort your metal, glass, plastic, paper, and other materials for local initiatives. 

Reduce the amount of garbage produced. Buy things with fewer packaging and compost or chip yard debris.
