about 3 months ago, we sent in our car to get approved for cars on the coast in savannah, GA. we got approved, YAY! we went ahead and sent our $60 fee to be in the show & $12 passenger ticket. the weekend of the meet rolls around. we booked our hotel, spent $200 on gas to get there. our roll in time was 10-11:30. we got there at 10. waited in a HUGE line of cars. it was not until 1 pm that we were told “unfortunately the venue is overbooked, we cannot allow anyone else inside. we need your name and your payment method to go about sending refunds. we gave our info and were told it would be monday at the latest. well, monday rolls around. we are emailing austin lang, the founder of Street Labs. he assured us that yes, we will receive our refund today (ON MONDAY!) it is now thursday. we have still received no refund. we are being told we will not receive a refund, we will be granted entry to the next show. we don’t deserve a refund because the show “stated no refunds” but how can we not get a refund when it was the coordinators fault that we didn’t get in? he knowingly admitted that he overbooked cars for “in case people don’t show up or have em emergency” so let’s say about an estimate of 70 cars he overbooked on PURPOSE. $60 entry fee x 70 is $4,200 that he, a SCAMMER, is pocketing. a no refund policy + overbooking on purpose is literally the definition of a scam. any negative feedback on the facebook page gets deleted and blocked. he has blocked us on his personal page as well. do not let this man run anymore events. he refuses to send refunds and we were told BY HIM that we would receive a refund due to their mess up. we are not the only ones who he is flat out ignoring and blocking and SCAMMING
