I care about ending child abuse in America. Child abuse and neglect is a big problem in our country and I want to raise awareness for the issue and promote progress toward ending child abuse. According to Prevent Child Abuse America, approximately 1 million children are affected by child abuse yearly (Prevent Child Abuse America, 2012). Additionally, according to Childhelp, four to five children die every day as a result of child abuse or neglect (Childhelp, 2014). Clearly, this is a big issue which demands attention. This is especially relevant today because of the stay at home orders which many states are currently under, so we need to do everything in our power to protect vulnerable children. Together we can work together to end child abuse in America so every child receives the love and opportunities they deserve.
