I’m signing because you should spend those funds on introducing therapists and mental health training instead of a tank.

Defund the police! This won't be used for anything but supressing the rights of the innocent. Black Lives Matter!

I wouldn’t support this in 2019. I definitely don’t support this in 2020. This completely sends the wrong message about Campbell and I am deeply involved in messaging about Campbell as the longtime voice of DowntownCampbell.com.

Money should be spent on community improvement - not for "what if" doomsday scenarios. Council woman Anne Bybee seems to think we do not "understand" the need for this vehicle and Paul Resnikoff says Campbell abuts one of the worst gang areas in the South Bay...they are operating off of fear rather than strategizing on how to curtail the issues our community faces. Defund the police.

I agree the Bearcat is for off road and rural use. Campbell should use funds for other purposes and not purchase a Bearcat. W.D.Grasty

Even if this rig cost $0, the annual maintenance will be significant. There are far better places to put PM money.

You do not need a baseball bat to kill a flea. This piece of equipment is not suitable or useable in a small suburban community and its operational cost is close to paying a salary for 3 policemen. Operational costs are an operator, a maintenance person, and a trainer. This vehicle is not functional if it is sitting in hibernation eleven months of the year. How and where will you be using it on a weekly basis?
