Regular users of the Prestbury playing fields have a safety concern relating to the ease of access /egress directly onto the busy Prestbury Road for the people who use the fields. In particular it applies to small children, people who exercise their dogs, and people with pushchairs or with mobility issues such as a wheelchair user.  Currently there is an open section of the new metal fence that runs adjacent to the Prestbury road, and is sited at the boundary between the lower and upper playing fields. As there is no barrier here, young children if left unsupervised, could exit through this onto the pavement next to the very busyPrestbury road.  The same applies to people walking or exercising their dogs.
