The South African Economy has been struggling and we as a country have a growing debt. Changing the names of cities such as Port Elizabeth's costs money. The second problem that we have, is that tourism is going to be directly effected by the confusion. Lastly, business's that include the city name in their company name, may now have to change their names which may force them to incur costs which they may not have the money to outlay, in these harsh economic times. Wastage of money is not an option when so many people are unemployed and struggling financially. This should not be a priority for the country.
