The president wants West Point Military Academy to hold a commencement that he can address. This means cadets who have dispersed across the country must put themselves at risk by returning to the academy, and then gather in a large group to receive the president's comments. This endangers the health of young people who were planning to leave and begin their careers. Instead of supporting our newest military leaders, the president is putting them in harm's way. This is unnecessary. Mr. President, please cancel this request to address the academy.
