Philippines: Restore the budget of human rights
This petition had 121 supporters
The House of the Representatives voted to give CHR (Commission of Human Rights) a budget of P 1,000 in 2018. 119 lawmakers voted to approve the P 1,000 budget for the CHR and only 32 voted against on it. They should think wisely of voting something that is necessity that gives principle respect and moral to all the Filipino citizens. By partaking in this issue we must protect and fight for our justice in human rights to provoke the decision of the the senates especially chairperson Gascon of CHR.
As a Filipino citizen, we should not let our human rights be worth of P 0.000009 each. The government looks like they are just serving their political party rather than the fellow Filipinos. The agenda of this politicians didn't even consider the rights of everyone, they just thought of budgeting it cheaper for 2018 not knowing the value of human rights.
How will the government protect the human rights of every Filipino if they only budget it a worth of P 1,000 next year? Our human rights is not just P 1,000. We gave our taxes every day and should have sense of equity.
Restore the budget. Give justice and support for human rights.
