I think there should be a mandate on each Earth day to turn out the lights in the urban and suburban areas. This would allow citizens to enjoy the full experience of the night sky with little to no light pollution obstructing the view of our wonderful cosmos! All too often our night skies are plagued with light pollution from urban areas nearby. I think it would be a great opportunity to see how magical space is!
