Stop Hurting Ethiopia and Ethiopians

Stop Hurting Ethiopia and Ethiopians
Dear Mr. President
I am one of the Ethiopian Americans who voted for you. As you know, in the 2020 general election, it was the first time that a democratic presidential candidate won Georgia since the early 1990s. We, Ethiopian Americans, played a huge role in this victory because we all voted for the democratic candidate, particularly in Cobb, Clayton, Dekalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties where almost all Ethiopian Americans reside. However, now we feel betrayed by your Administration. Your administration unfairly attacks the democratically elected government of Ethiopia. In 2003, the Bush Administration went to war in Iraq using fabricated evidence. As a result, the American taxpayers lost over a trillion dollars; more than three thousand American soldiers lost their lives; and over thirty thousand American soldiers were wounded. In addition, Iraq was destroyed, and the lives of the people of Iraq have been shattered forever. Furthermore, the Obama Administration destabilized Libya and made it a hub for terrorists. More than 20 Ethiopian immigrants were slaughtered by one of the terrorist groups in Libya in front of the world. At least President Obama regretted his administration's involvement in Libya. So, what did the U.S. accomplish from these involvements? Nothing!
Now, the your administration is beating new war drums to destabilize Ethiopia using fabricated and false stories produced by CNN. What goals will be accomplished by destabilizing another developing country that has been a staunching supporter and ally of the U.S. in the war against terrorism? Ethiopians have spoken and elected their government. The Biden administration should respect the will of Ethiopians and try to work with the new administration instead of admonishing and trying to impose a sanction that is not warranted.
Thus, Mr. President, I would request that your administration stop destabilizing, hurting, and alienating Ethiopia and Ethiopians. I implore you to be on the right side of history and save Ethiopia and Ethiopians from being pushed away from the Western camp.
We, Ethiopian Americans, are very disappointed and feel betrayed by the Biden Administration and the democratic party. The democratic party needs us to stay as a majority party in Congress and keep the presidency for years to come. Please refrain from alienating and pushing us away from the democratic party. I hope and pray your honor will stand for the truth and pause and think again about your action against Ethiopia and Ethiopians. Don't allow your administration to make the same mistakes that the Bush and Obama Administrations made in Iraq and Libya.
Respectfully,
