Problem Summary:
With each passing year, it becomes more and more unlikely that American Descendants of Slavery will ever receive monetary compensation for the injustices carried out during the Atlantic slave trade. If reparations were paid out by the US government under the current estimates, it would double the National Debt. Another concern is that it wouldn't be fair to impose additional taxes on the entire US population, including those who did not participate in slavery, to pay for reparations.

Proposed Solution:
As an alternate proposal, we ask that all American Descendants of Slavery, who can provide proof that they're the descendant of a slave, be given tax exception status indefinitely. No additional taxes would need to be collected, the descendants of slavery would simply be allowed to keep what they've rightfully earned. It is only fair for those unjustly treated to be given an opportunity to build tax-free generational wealth in this country after the right to do so was withheld from their ancestors.
