There has been NUMEROUS deaths, hit and runs, car crashes etc. on Henry Ave. in Philadelphia by the ANDORRA area. Enforcing the same speed law they have on Roosevelt Boulevard now, can and will save lives! The limit on Henry Ave is currently 30 MPH however, people are doing well over 80. Living in Philadelphia I don’t really expect people other than senior citizens and/or young new drivers to be doing the exact speed limit, but when it’s being exceeded tremendously, people are dying, being road bullied, seriously injured and totaling their cars and others. Please, let’s get this done!! I’ve witnessed so many ambulances in that area almost every other day. It’s a beautiful area; Just not so safe. Many students and joggers are in the area as well which scares me even more. People never want to seem to think “it” could happen to them…and then it does. Help me save lives. Help me save cars! Help me make this area just a little bit safer for everyone! People have no idea they’re leaving their home in the morning just to never return because of a speed demon on Henry Ave!! I’m so tired of seeing bodies get taken into ambulances and airbags deployed because people can’t seem to slow down!! I know we can do this!
