Everyone knows how important it is for people to have access to the resources they need especially when it comes to things like mental health. So why is it that most of the resources for people’s mental health is either expensive or not of good quality? 

   I propose that we put our tax dollars something useful and offer quality and affordable health care resources. That way people will be able to take care of their mental health and get the help they need to do so easier and it’ll be actually worth their time. People with depression and/or anxiety should be able to have access to the medications prescribed to them and should be able to refill them when needed. Same with those with schizophrenia and and other mental health issues that usually have meds associated with them. People should also have access to therapy. Now this is borderline. But these should be professionals who know what their doing and if needed are able to recommend places where they can get further help.  

   As someone who grew up in a family where mental health issues - such a schizophrenia - is common, this is incredibly important to me and I’m sure it’s important to many of you whether or not mental health affect you personally or not.
