Around 356,000 people suffer from cardiac arrest (heart attack) every year. 9 out of 10 of those people make it out of a heart attack alive (while not in a hospital). This is unacceptable. When a bystander is nearby, the chance of survival goes up to 1 out of 3 people making it out alive, a low number that should be raised. Sign this petition if you think high schoolers should be required to learn CPR. This will allow the survival rate to rise.
