Many Young adults in this generation are trying to live independently with non-beneficial parents. If a person makes under 20 an hour then they are living in poverty. A young adult working, homeless, paying bills, but struggling to get by applies for food stamps because they are in need of it. The food stamps assistance could allow them to save that money they are spending on food. Allow them to eat when they don’t have the funds to purchase food after paying bills and also save money to get out of the situation they are in. The young adult get denied because they make too much money. If they made too much money they wouldn’t be struggling. Some Young Adult don’t have family’s to knock on there door and ask for help when they need it. They reach out to the government for help. If a person has proof they are in need of help it shouldn’t be biased on how much money they make, but rather the facts of why they need the help.
