Mr. President,

You said to Congress, "Our Constitution opens with the words, “We the People”. It’s time we remembered that We the People are the government."

The Government is NOT the We the People.

We the People are the electorate. 

We the People are your constituency.

We the People are the citizens that voted for and against you, your Administration and those privileged to be elected to both houses of Congress.

You are the elected representatives of WE THE PEOPLE.

YOU ARE NOT "WE THE PEOPLE!"

WE ARE THE PEOPLE!

YOU ARE ELECTED AS OUR VOICE. THIS IS A PRIVILEGE WE HAVE GRANTED YOU. YOU DO NOT RULE US.

YOU REPRESENT US. ALL OF US. Those who SUPPORTED YOU and those who OPPOSED YOU.

FOR BETTER OR WORSE, You are obligated to REPRESENT AND SERVE ALL OF US. You have been granted a sacred trust by WE THE PEOPLE

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO WHO YOU OWE YOUR SERVICE.
