This petition is asking for all your votes to agree that for the people that do Home Health for families or others in their homes get some type of benefits for the work they do because they also put their own lives and their families lives at risk when they care for people in their homes. Home health care givers are not recognized like the first responders like EMSA, nurses, doctors, etc. School teachers are looking at getting what they call a Thank you financial package from the pandemic, so why can there not be more handed out for Home Health Care givers. I also believe that the pay rate per hour should also go up for these workers, a lot of Home health care givers still struggle just to make it on a $9.75 an hour rate. There is a lot of work when doing Home health because most people believe it is just assisting people to doctor appointments or shopping and cleaning, but there is a lot more behind those closed doors then what you think. So with that being said we asking that you please sign this petition so we can get it to who has charge to change this for Home Health Care givers. Thank you who all believe in this.
