For the past few years millennials have been dying from drugs, alcohol and suicide more than any other age group. The causes of most of this is depression. Do you know when that starts? Around the age of 11.  Our children's heads are sometimes filled with dark thoughts. we need to change this. A lot of people think that mental illness is just an "adult problem". It not, and we need to tell people this. there are many ways to help loved ones, and yourself. Here are some resources: ”National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: Call 1-800-273-TALK (8255). “Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): A treatment referral helpline is available at 1-800-662-HELP (4357). It directs callers to treatment services``.MedlinePlus from The National Library of Medicine (NLM): The website lets you search mental health groups to find a health practitioner.” These are three good sources. You can google “suicide prevention” to get more numbers.
