Abigail Charlot started this petition to President of the United States and

I'm Abigail Charlot and I am doing a project for school on the Global Goals about Zero Hunger.

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality, and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society, and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone. (https://www.globalgoals.org/

Hunger is the leading cause of death in the world. Our planet has provided us with tremendous resources, but unequal access and inefficient handling leave millions of people malnourished. If we promote sustainable agriculture with modern technologies and fair distribution systems, we can sustain the whole world’s population and make sure that nobody will ever suffer from hunger again.(https://www.globalgoals.org/

I chose this topic because I think it is unfair how everyone can't get the food they need to stay healthy and alive. I researched the American Rescue Plan and found the "Justice For Black Farmers Act. Of the $10.4 billion in the American Rescue Plan, approximately half would go to disadvantaged farmers, and about a quarter of the disadvantaged farmers are Black. So if you would, please sign this petition to support the "Justice for Black farmers Act " it would mean a lot to me, my cause, and the farmers.

Thank You
