Have the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) shut down Equifax for gross negligence

Equifax, by allowing a well-known vulnerability to be hacked, exhibited gross negligence, proving they are not responsible enough to be trusted with the personal information of millions of Americans. Their executives who then sold stock prior to the release of information on the hack, proved that they are scofflaws and shouldn't be allowed to operate. The third slap in the face is their requirement that in order to accept help from them to protect our credit ratings, we have to waive our rights to participate in a class action lawsuit. Equifax needs to be shut down to punish them, and to send a signal to these other credit bureaus to get their houses in order.
