Teachers need to get paid way more. They do so much every single day. I wanted to start this because my teacher can only respond to emails at school, and he responded a 10:45 PM!!!! That means he was still at school!!!! They do so much work every day to make everything perfect for our education. It is not ok that they only get paid a little. To give you an example, there was this one kid in my class and he did not care in the least what he said or did at school. He thought it was funny when teachers tried to discipline him. Not ok. Also, did you know that teachers have to work at recess, lunch, before school, and after school, just to get the day ready. And then they have to do that again and again each day. Most teachers have to get summer jobs to make ends meet. Yet usually they still put on a happy face for kids when they come in each day. Did you know teachers are only allowed to have a certain number of vacation days, just like you? In fact, a lot of rules that apply to kids also apply to teachers. They also have to be at school early each morning. Actually, they have to be there earlier then you to set up everything for the school day. And stay later than you. Teachers have to do so much. Next time your complaining about homework, remember what your teachers have to do every day.
