Give international adoptive people a chance to run for president

The reason for my advocation is due to the fact that kids who were adopted from a foreign country are unable to run for president. My idea is to allow adopted kids who entered the US when they were two years old or younger the opportunity to run for the highest power in office, or Vice President in that manner. My point is... what's the harm in giving adopted people the opportunity to run for president. Our country is based off equality, thus giving the reason to allow adopted people a chance to run for president. I'm not trying to get rid of the law that prevents this, I am simply trying to make an exception. Personally, I am adopted and the environment that I live in the US is the only memory I have as a home. I am a US citizen just as much as anyone in this country, so to not allow me the right to become president is inequitable. I understand the law as it prevent foreigners from becoming the leader of our country, however to adopted people who have no memory of their foreign country, this is their home country. All I'm trying to say is that I believe that adopted people who arrived in the US at a very young age should have the same opportunity to make our country a better place.

Thank you in advance. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and it means a lot to me.
