i’m stuck in a weirdo school that contains far too many people who hate me for such a low amount of students. the environment in which i’m in, as well as the education system in place is TERRIBLE for someone like me. i’m stuck with a bunch of weird kids and kids that don’t like me, but at pinecreek highschool i have a lot of friends, and a lot of people i know in general. the learning environment, which lacks mandatory attendance, and is mostly online doesn’t work well for me. i have a hard time motivating myself to do the work when there’s no pressure or even obligation for it to be done. in a traditional learning environment i would achieve much more in a short amount of time than i ever have at the school i’m currently trapped in. i hope that by getting a substantial amount of signatures on this petition, it will help sway my mother in the direction of letting me be in the environment, socially and educationally, that i need to be in.
