Thousands of families have been impacted by hurricane Ida and few have also paid the ultimate price with their lives! We need the government to step forward ASAP and not linger about and twiddle their thumbs but actually make decisions quick! Time is of the essence In a natural disaster and we cannot just let people figure it out on their own. This is the time for government to come and provide help!  We need NYC to be declared a disaster zone so we can get the assistance of FEMA that is so desperately needed by thousands!
