This man is a hero, not a criminal. What happened to him is insane.

I believe these fine men of our military were unjustly convicted so as to appease a foreign government. The lawyers and judges need to be investigated and their biases need to be made public.

We expect our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, & Marines to serve with out question, & without any mental reservations, lay their lives on the line for others, even if they are in other Countries, & this is how they're treated for doing so. This is an abominable miscarriage of injustice, & must be corrected.
Please P.O.T.U.S., pardon this American Hero, yesterday.

NO AMERICAN WHO VOLUNTEERED TO DEFEND AMERICA SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO ANY ACCUSATION RELATED TO HIS SERVICE!!! HE HAD TO DO WHAT HE HAD TO DO!! IF YOU DON'T WANT OUR SOLDIERS TO DO WHAT YOU SENT THEM TO DO, THEN DON'T SEND THEM!!! JUST KEEP THEM SHELTERING 'IN PLACE'!

It's sad that a soldier can die defending his country, but goes to prison for defending himself!

I believe our fighting men and women are sometimes put into impossible situations.... and act accordingly! Someone who has served three tours should be honored not punished!!

I had read another article on this & they said that he was seen straddling the victim & shot in at that point instead of the during the struggle. Regardless, considering the time he spent in country & his tours, he shouldn't have been given a life term.
