God's greatest commandment is to " Love the Lord your God, and to walk in all of his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul." Joshua 22:5 

Another one of God's commandments in Exodus 20:8 is to "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy".

My whole point is many people nationwide have to work during Sabbath (Friday evening til Saturday evening). He tells us that "sabbaths shall be celebrated from even unto even". Leviticus 23:32 It would be wise for all businesses to close down during the Lord's Sabbath out of love and obedience of the Lord. "If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit." Galatians 5:25 

God clearly tells us throughout the Bible and in Exodus 20:10-11 "But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant , nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. God should never be left out of anything. He gave his life and blood for us. He suffered for us. Please lets make this a law. For God is real, he will return, lets focus on preparing, be ready, for he is coming at an day and hour unexpectedly.  Think about it this way would you rather genuinely love God first, bear the Spirit of Good Fruits, turn away from sins, and have a chance at eternal life or bear the Spirit of the Flesh, continue living in sin, and face death. 

All I can do is ask the Holy Spirit to lead the way. I was recently asked to return my work uniform because I should have been "honest" about me not being able to work during the Lord's Sabbath. Yes, we should all live in truth. However, my question is why can't the Lord be honored at any time in these work places whether in advance or at the last minute? Why? Is it because the business will lose something that is temporary and that we can't take with us when we die like money or his or her reputation?

Yes, in this world we have to have money to spend on the things that we need and occasionally want. However, what is wrong with shutting down for 24 hours of your time to honor God and His will? Think about how many of you have applied for a job or check on a job offer, or given a job offer to be told that they would not be able to work around you being off for the Lord's Sabbath all because of the "business needs". What about God's needs?

This petition is important to me because celebrating the Sabbath is God's will and many people are going against it. There is no light behind that. Don't you think? Something must be done. Thank you all for your time and support. Remember I am not getting the glory out of this God is.
