We request the Government of Sierra Leone  to open an embassy for Sierra Leoneans living in the Scandinavia. Travelling to London which is over 3,500km away from The Scandinavia for passport services has become increasingly demanding, unrealistic, burdensome and impractical. The Republic of Sierra Leone needs a full diplomatic mission within the Nordic region to facilitate trade, political engagement and to cater to the needs of her citizens resident in the region  .

The Scandinavia which comprises of the sovereign states of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are one of the most prosperous, most peaceful, most democratic, most innovative, happiest and most stable countries in the world. Sierra Leone needs to develop a more closer political, economic and cultural ties with these countries in order to fully benefit from their enormous potentials.
