Ajay Verma started this petition to President of India and

I would like to bring minimum eligibility criteria for those who want to contest for elections in India. IAS is India's top most administrative job and the selection of the candidates for IAS job is done by UPSC.

The Member of Parliament (MP) who are chosen by Indian citizens through democratic process and holds quite significant portfolio in cabinet ministry but some candidate are not eligible for this post due to their qualification and multiple criminal cases running against them. So if an additional parameter can be put during their nominations process then It will bring qualified & pure character candidate in the Parliament.

This additional parameter/condition is that the candidate nominating for any Loksabha election should be qualified from UPSC examination and those candidates who were not chosen for IAS/IPS/IRS and other positions, those candidates only can file their nominations.

Even the qualified candidate (IAS/IPS etc) would be eligible to file their nomination those who wish to serve the Nation by quitting their IAS/IPS etc job.

I think that the citizens of India will also be very happy to include this condition because it will strengthen our democratic process and will bring more honest, hard working, young, energetic and educated Minister of Parliament (MP) in the parliament.

Senior IAS working under those ministers will also feel proud and will have better coordination between IAS and the MP.

I would request to all,  the citizens of India, to support my this petition as I want to see my Nation (1st) across the Globe.

Jai Hind, Jai Hind, Jai Hind !!!
