*We demand UP Govt resignation* at failing to prevent the subversion of police machinery.
The police went out of the way to destroy evidence and prevent media access to facts only to protect the upper caste persons who perpetrated the Hathras crime.
The crime was a planned act of hateful violence directed at the girl, her gender, her community and humanity.
As humanists we believe in active non-violence and non-discrimination among human beings. We believe in “Nothing above the human being and no human being below another “
Hence we reject all notions of caste hierarchy, supremacy and superiority. We oppose such violence to suppress the other communities. We strongly condemn all propaganda that justifies violence against women.

The CM has failed to prevent the misuse of the police machinery resulting in loss of life and grave injustice to the poor family and their community. Government  of UP must resign
