Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has been running four year integrated BABEd. & BScBEd. Programmes from the academic session 2013-14. The first two batches i.e. 2013-17 & 2014-18 are still unrecognised by the NCTE despite the many "efforts" claimed by the University. It is to be noted that the University also claims that it was directed by MHRD and UGC for starting these programmes without approval from NCTE. They have also been assuring us for the last three years that everything is under process but only oral assurances, they are skeptical of providing any written assurance from MHRD or NCTE. However, after much pressure Vice- Chancellor has agreed to give in written which is obviously not binding in any manner. Moreover, its largely a gimick to pacify the angry students and nothing more. Also we don't trust their word. If there is some written promise it has to come from MHRD.
We have written many letters, emails, RTI etc to President, Prime Minister, MHRD, NCTE and obviously the University but have never received a clear deadline or the current status or any of the relevant document demanded by us. The University also very strongly denies any possibility of making any sort or direct communication between students and MHRD.
In such a situation when we, the first batch students are about to pass out within ten months, are highly worried about our future prospect as our careers are at stake. So we request the President of India, in his capacity as the "Visitor " to the University to intervene in the matter and direct MHRD, NCTE and University(CUSB) to resolve the matter at the earliest keeping in view the career of almost 90 young students.
