The question paper for the all Central Government Jobs examination were only in English and Hindi.
It gives greater advantage to those who having Hindi as their Mother tongue where as the candidates like me deprived of the right to write this examination in my mother tongue Tamil.
It Unjustifiably prevented people like me to get selected in Central Govt Examinations.
Government is now proposing to introduce common eligibility and to shortlist the candidates for vacancies of Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted and below posts through computer based online mode test for Tier-1 Examination to be conducted by a multi agency body
If the same pattern of setting question papers in Hindi and English followed,It will be a grave injustice to all those people whose mother tongue is not Hindi and English
Article 16 guarantees equality of opportunity in matters of public employment and prevents the State from discriminating against anyone in matters of employment on the grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, descent, place of birth, place of residence or any of them.
By reminding this constitutional principle,I appeal to include all the 8th Schedule Languages in Question Paper and allow candidates to write in their mother tongue.
