'Ghanaians In Ukraine', a project by the Banasco Foundation, a mission based organization powered by the Scratch Technologies Ghana, seeks to bring to the attention of the Government of Ghana and the general public the need to act quick to evacuate our fellow Ghanaians stuck in Sumy, Ukraine. The organization is made up of over 20 volunteers in UK, USA and other parts of the world, making escape plans to help evacuate the Ghanaians from Ukraine. Fortunately, we have been able to contact the Ghana-Ukraine Ambassy and now it is about time to reach out to the President of Ghana, parliament, media houses and the general public to all come together to help rescue our people.

Students and Ghanaians in Sumy are going through a lot: no food, no electricity, no Wifi and internet. All forms of transportation and communication blocked at the moment. We can reach out to only few Ghanaians there. They need help! The time to act is now. 

These are Ghanaian families and people who lived normal lives just like everyone of us before this Ukraine crisis hit them. We cannot allow ourselves as human race to stand by and watch his happening to them, we need to do what we can and are going to do exactly that today to evacuate them. Arise, Ghana !
