We are Marching for the realization of our right to Water and Sanitation, and the right to education in a safe environment.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) are fundamental for good health and disease prevention in our communities and schools. Inadequate access to WASH facilities has a significant impact on the well-being of our youths. 

We are marching for adequate WASH in schools:

• Toilet facilities that are sex specific and persons with disability friendly in every school;
• Handwashing facilities with soap and running water at all times;
• Appropriate solid waste management (i.e. waste separation for reuse and recycle) in all schools;

We are marching for prioritization of WASH in all schools:

• Funding should be adequate;
• Timely; and
• Consistent.

I pledge my support for the realization of the Right to WASH for every child in Ghana.
