The Gish sister's legacy should not be tarnished by some modern day activist group. If the Gish name is removed then they should return any money that had been donated by the sisters.

This is plain and simple - it's the right thing to do!

People are human. The Gishes worked in a different kind of world than we have today. They may have had flaws, but were admirable women.

Anne Farley Gaines is my wife and I want to support this cause that she believes in. We both have watched some of Lillian Gish's films together. She is a superb actress and her legacy needs to be honored.

By dishonoring the Gish sisters, you would be dishonoring the concept of education. The proposal exemplifies a myopia and distorted sel-importance that has no place in an honored educational institution.

Lillian Gish was a deserving person and the logic for this renaming is both tenuous and specious.

I agree that this honors a great & charitable actress. She was a long time member of St. Bart’s Church and was s kind & generous person.

This is a sad ploy to remove great women in history. The Gish sisters were a tremendous credit to their profession. Whoever started the campaign to erase the name needs to do more research and less knee jerk whining

History should be preserved, not erased to satisfy the triggered emotions of idiots who know less about history than they do about eating tide pods.
