My fellow Americans and world citizens:
Edward J Erler, Ph.D., is a Professor of Political Science at
California State University, San Bernardino.
He is much more than that. One of the top Constitutional
scholars in the United States, and a staunch defender of
our Constitution, he was on the California Civil Rights
Commission for eighteen years. He was also on a
committee to revise the California State Constitution,
as I understand it.
Edward J Erler is also a contributor to IMPRIMIS, the
publication put out by Hillsdale College - and a college
which is going to become known in the next few years
as outshining every other college in America, because
it is unique in one respect - it doesn't take a dime in
Federal aid, or any of the problems which go along with it.
It is time for the era of political hacks in the Office of US
Attorney General to end, and it is time for the President
to appoint at least one more US Attorney General during
his remaining 41 months in office. In this way, the
President's tarnished legacy on Constitutional issues
may be restored, and more importantly the United States
can regain its Constitutional footing - something that is
important to every other nation in the world, and something
that will certainly restore the good name and good credit
of the USA worldwide. There is no excuse for delay.
The President must act now.
