Appoint Don Siegelman as head of the US Board of Pardons
Don Siegelman can end the logjam in the
Office of the US Pardon Attorney.
As former Attorney General of the State of Alabama,
and a man with advanced degrees in law and
international relations; Governor Don Eugene Siegelman
is more qualified to handle the weighty responsibilities of this
important Government position than anyone else.
Furthermore, as a victim of injustice, Don Siegelman is
familiar with the fact that he needs to do things differently
than past occupants of this important post.
This appointment by President Obama would also
improve the image of the United States around the world,
and would assure that the influence of the United States
of America, as it is felt around the world, is an influence
which is primarily for the betterment of humanity.
BE IT RESOLVED: We call on President Obama to
grant an immediate pardon and reprieve to Don Siegelman
as stipulated in the 52-part Pardon and Reprieve,
or perhaps even more generously than that,
and to subsequently appoint Don Siegelman as
US Pardon Attorney, in order to begin
the long-overdue healing process
of restoring justice in the United States,
for the betterment of the world.
