Mr President

We appreciate your efforts in trying to stop the spread of COVID-19 but it must be expressed that the $150 COVID-19 Test Fee is too much for the average Ghanaian to afford. Ghanaian citizens have been stranded abroad since the start of the global pandemic. It is our desire to come back home now the lockdown has ended to resume work or try to look for new employment as not everyone has been lucky enough to retain their jobs. $150 which equates to GHC900 is a lot of money which can help support ourselves and our families in the current situation. We would be most grateful if this fee is scrapped in order for us to facilitate our trip back home to resume life and for us to see our families and loved ones who we have been without through these unsettling times.
